The Opportunity
Inversa Systems is looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer
(CTO) to join our senior management team. In this role, you will
report to the President/CEO and be responsible for establishing the
company’s technical vision and leading all aspects of the company’s
technology development. You will be responsible for hardening our
current non-destructive testing technology and leading the successful
commercialization of our existing technology. You will drive new
innovations and expand the technical capabilities and performance of
our existing product portfolio and associated services.
Role Responsibilities
As Chief Technology Officer you will:
- Spearhead all of Inversa’s technical strategy
development efforts based on solid evaluation of market opportunities
and risks.
- Harden our current product, ensuring that the
company is poised for successful commercialization, and manage the
entire release process.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize development
initiatives, lead our R&D team through new product development and
technology improvements, and manage deployment.
- Evaluate and identify appropriate technology
platforms for meeting the company’s strategic technical goals.
- Establish and supervise a quality assurance
process, including integration and system testing.
- Manage the department’s human, technical, and
financial resources.
About You / Requirements
You are an experienced and proven technology leader with:
- Masters degree in engineering supplemented by
10-15 years of senior technical engineering management experience.
- Experience in non-destructive testing (NDT),
imaging, or radiation mechanics (medical or industrial)
- A proven track record of taking early-stage
products through successful commercialization.
- Hands-on expertise in reliability hardening of
robotic/electro-mechanical/imaging products.
- Strong ability to articulate ideas and
strategies to, and collaborate with, both technical and non-technical
audiences.
- Advanced expertise in monitoring and evaluating
hardware and software trends.
- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment.
