• Successfully recruit employees for positions, ranging from entry level to senior management, in a variety of sectors including I.T., manufacturing, and human development. Conduct searches, write and post job ads, and interview candidates for these positions.
• Aid in various studies, such as compensation studies. Write questionnaires, contact and interview study participants.
• Design and develop a monthly email newsletter of job opportunities to send to potential job candidates.
• Designed and developed the new People Reach Consulting website.

Optical Software Inc. - Developer Oct 2001 – July 2003

• Coordinated and managed development of Optical Software's new, dynamic website. (www.omics.com)
• Completed front end of a new software product, “Direct Lab”, (using Delphi 6) to allow doctors' offices to send optical prescriptions directly to Optical Software labs. Advanced to Lead Developer over the course of the project. Developed all of the context-sensitive help files for the product (using AuthorIT). Delivered the product on time and met expectations while also managing other, required projects.
• Designed and developed a variety of reports, using Active Data Objects (ADO). The reports enable physicians to view formatted data (from an MSAccess database) with the simple click of a button.
• Developed and implemented the project plan for a major release of Optical  Software's flagship product.
• Developed training materials (hands-on activities, instructor's manuals, and participant manuals) for the company's complex optical-lab management software. These materials are used to train the company's largest clients.

ITI - IT Student/Team Member Nov 2000 - Aug 2001

• Graduated at the top of the class from the intense, hands-on and team-oriented postgraduate Applied Information Technology program.
• Built an enterprise-wide project tracking solution using DB2 Universal Database (DB2 UDB), Java, and SQL.
• Created platform-independent, Internet-based application for a personnel placement agency using VisualAge for Java, and the Java Development Kit (JDK).
• Developed n-tier client/server application complete with GUI and a back-end database. Incorporated online functionality. Used Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, GUIDS, Visual Basic 6.0, MSAccess, ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), SQL, ActiveX, Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS), ASP, IIS.
• Designed fully functional database and management system with Web presence for an online automobile brokerage firm. Used MSAccess, SQL, VBA, ActiveX, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, Macromedia Flash.

• Developed and delivered instructor-mediated training on a wide variety of business and technology topics.
• Led and managed development and maintenance of the corporate website(s).
• Managed and coordinated internal and external content-providers in courseware development.
• Prepared proposals for and managed various projects for both the government and the private sector.
• Increased demand by creating online courseware in Project Management, Small Business Management, and IT Negotiations.
